The company is led by Joseph Friedman, an art market professional with over 30 years of experience, having previously worked as a Senior Director of Sotheby’s, Curator of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor’s house in Paris, Director of Saatchi Yates Masters, and an adviser to the National Trust, the Foreign Office, the Hôtel Ritz in Paris, and the J. Rothschild Group of Companies. A graduate of Cambridge University, Joseph Friedman was awarded an Honorary Visiting Fellowship in the Department of History of Art at the University of York in 2011 and a Senior Research Fellowship in the Humanities Research Institute at the University of Buckingham in 2013, and has published and lectured widely on the history of the fine and decorative arts and collecting.
